Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how users of the Polpo Desk service and of the Polpo Desk Operator and Polpo Desk client apps (Windows, macOS, Android) can have their account and data deleted. The service is provided by İNFORMAC TEKNOLOJİ SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ.

1. How to request deletion

  1. From the email address registered to your Polpo Desk account, send an email to [email protected] with the subject “Account deletion request”.
  2. Include your account's email address and, if applicable, your organization's name.
  3. We will reply to verify that the request comes from the account holder.
  4. After your confirmation, we delete your account and the data listed below within 30 days at the latest and notify you by email when it is done.

If you are a team member of an organization account, your organization's administrator can also remove you on the Users page of the web panel; your account can then no longer sign in and your email address becomes available again.

2. Data that is deleted

  • Account details: name, display name, email address, password hash and profile photo.
  • Favorites and personal device list settings.
  • If you own an organization account: the organization's users, session records, audit records and order details.

3. Data that is retained and for how long

  • Invoices and payment records are retained for 10 years as required by the Turkish Commercial Code and Tax Procedure Law, and are used only for this legal obligation.
  • If you are a team member of an organization account, past session and audit records belong to your organization; they may remain in your organization's reports, together with your name, until the organization account is deleted.

The content of remote sessions (screen image, control data, chat messages and transferred files) is end-to-end encrypted and is never stored on our servers, so there is no session content to delete.

Deleting your account does not uninstall the Polpo Desk apps from your devices; you can uninstall them separately.
