Session and audit reports, Excel/PDF
Filter and sort the Sessions and Audit Log tables in the panel by date, operator and status, and export them to Excel or PDF.
Last updated:
The Panel shows the connections your team makes and the actions taken in the account in two reports: Sessions and Audit Log. Reports contain only record details (who, when, which device, how long); the picture, chat or transferred files of sessions are never recorded.
Who sees what?
| Report | Admin | User |
|---|---|---|
| Sessions | Sessions (organization-wide): the whole team's sessions | My Sessions: only their own sessions |
| Audit Log | Yes | No |
Sessions report
Open Sessions from the left menu of the panel. The table has these columns:
- Date — when the session started
- Operator — the display name of the person who connected
- Device — if the device has an alias in the address book, the alias first with the device's real name below it
- ID — the device's 9-digit ID
- Duration — in minutes
- Type — Control, View or File
- Status — Completed, Failed or Active
Connections that couldn't be established, for example because of a wrong password, a full connection limit or an offline device, show as Failed.
Choosing a date range
- Pick the start and end day in the two date fields at the top. The end day is included in the report.
- Click Filter.
When the report opens, it shows today's records. The Today button resets the range to today.
Filtering, searching and sorting
- Choose a single team member from the operator list.
- Choose Completed, Failed or Active from the status list.
- Type an operator name, device name, alias or ID in the Search… box; the table filters as you type.
- Click a column header to sort by that column; a second click reverses the order.
Below the table you see the number of filtered records and the Total duration. In the Per page list you can choose 25, 50, 100 or 200 rows, and move between pages with the arrows.
Audit Log
Admins open the Audit Log by choosing Audit in the left menu. It lists actions such as sign-ins, connections, adding, suspending and deleting users, role changes, orders and support tickets.
Columns: Time, User, Email, Action, Detail and IP. The date range, Filter, Today, the user and action lists, the Search… box, sorting and paging work the same way as in the Sessions report.
Exporting to Excel and PDF
Both reports have two buttons at the top:
- Export Excel — downloads the table as a CSV file that opens in Excel.
- Export PDF — opens the table, ready to print, in a new window and starts the print dialog. Choose Save as PDF as the printer to get a PDF file.
The export takes all filtered records on screen in the current sort order, not just the visible page. In the Sessions file, the device alias and real name are in separate columns; the PDF ends with the record count and total duration.
Large reports
At most 5,000 records are loaded at a time. When you need a report for a long period, split the date range into months and export each month separately.
Session list in the operator console
The Sessions page in the operator console also shows your own sessions, filtered by date, type and status. Use its Export CSV button to download the list.
