Adding users and roles
Invite users to your team from the panel, give them the Admin or User role, suspend or delete accounts, and see how user seats are counted.

In Polpo Desk your account is an organization. You can add as many operators to the organization as your plan's user seats allow. Users are managed on the Users page of the Panel.
Roles
Each user has one of two roles:
| Admin | User | |
|---|---|---|
| Connect to remote devices | Yes | Yes |
| See their own sessions (My Sessions) | Yes | Yes |
| Access, Support and Settings pages | Yes | Yes |
| Users page (add, role, suspend, delete) | Yes | No |
| Subscription page | Yes | No |
| Organization-wide sessions and the Audit log | Yes | No |
| Set the privacy screen message | Yes | No |
The person who creates the account is an admin. The Users, Subscription and Audit menus are visible to admins only.
Adding a user
- Open the Users page in the panel.
- Click + Add User.
- Fill in Email and Full Name, and choose User or Admin as the Role.
- Click Send Invite.
An invitation email with a password-creation link is sent to the user. The invitation link is valid for 7 days. The user can sign in after clicking the link and setting a password of at least 8 characters.
Until the invitation is accepted or the email is verified, the Verification column shows pending. If the email didn't arrive, use the Resend button in that row.
3/5). If all seats are taken, a warning tells you that your user limit is full and that you need to upgrade your plan.Changing a role
- Choose the new role from the Role list in the user's row.
- Accept the confirmation window.
When a role changes, the person's open console and panel are closed; the new role applies when they sign in again.
Suspending and reactivating
To stop an employee's access temporarily, click Suspend. The status column changes to Suspended, the person's open session closes immediately and they can't sign in again. To restore access, click Activate.
Deleting a user
- Click the Delete button in the user's row.
- Accept the confirmation window.
A deleted user can't sign in, and their email address becomes available for reuse. Past session records stay in your organization; in reports the person's name is shown with the (deleted) label.
If your subscription expires
If your plan expires and you drop to the Free plan, the number of user seats goes down. In that case nobody is deleted or suspended; only as many users as there are seats can sign in. Admins get in first, then the oldest accounts. Users left without a seat see a warning telling them to contact their administrator when they try to sign in. Once the plan is renewed, everyone can sign in again.
To monitor your team members' connections, see Session and audit reports.
